Honda Culture Indonesia Event In Makassar Showcases The Best Of Modified Car Culture

Monday, 18 Nov 2024

Honda held the largest Honda community gathering in Indonesia called Honda Culture Indonesia on November 16, 2024, at Trans Studio Makassar. This event continues the Honda Culture Indonesia initiative, celebrating Honda's presence in the national and global automotive industry while providing a platform for Honda communities to showcase their creativity in car modifications. In addition to displaying various modified cars, the event featured entertainment and engaging activities for the whole family.

Honda Culture Indonesia Makassar brought together 27 Honda communities from different generations and models, welcoming the general public. The event offered a chance for communities to compete in the Honda Modification Competition, showcasing their creativity and pride in Honda vehicles. Various modification styles, such as Stance, Racing-inspired, OEM Look, and Restomod, highlighted how Honda cars have become a canvas for automotive enthusiasts to express their unique styles.

One popular modification style is Stance, which emphasizes a low vehicle appearance with wide wheels and aggressive camber angles, creating a distinctive aesthetic. For performance fans, the Racing-inspired style is a top choice, featuring modifications like aerodynamic body kits, spoilers, and engine upgrades to enhance acceleration and speed. Meanwhile, OEM Look and Restomod are increasingly favored by classic Honda owners who want to blend original looks with modern technology, preserving the vehicle's identity while keeping up with trends.

Shugo Watanabe, President Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor, stated, "Honda is not just a mobility company; it is also a part of everyday life. In various parts of the world, Honda communities have unique traits that shape Honda culture, and we are proud to celebrate this culture in Indonesia. We hope this event strengthens the bonds among individuals who share the same passion and love for Honda.

This modification competition features 50 finalists with Honda cars across 11 categories, including The Top Engine, The Top Wheels, and Honda Perfection Built. Winners will be chosen by independent professional judges from the National Modificator & Aftermarket Association (NMAA) and will receive exciting prizes, including cash and exclusive accessories.

Visitors can also enjoy attractive offers on care products and accessories to enhance their cars' style. Honda provides special programs like Lucky Dip Cashback, Service Vouchers, and financing options with low down payments, easy installments, and competitive interest rates. For those looking to trade in their old cars for new ones, Honda offers the Honda Certified Used Car service to simplify ownership. Additionally, visitors can participate in a prize-winning test drive with popular models like the Honda BR-V, HR-V, and CR-V. At the Jakarta event, there will also be opportunities to try out the modified Honda WR-V Elite and Honda City Hatchback.
