Singapore Airlines (SIA) has reported that it transported approximately 2.24 million passengers in October 2024, reflecting a 12.9 percent increase compared to the same period last year. According to its latest operational statistics, the cargo load for the SIA Group saw a year-on-year increase of 20.2 percent in October, bolstered by peak season shipments and a rise in freighter aircraft charters. Meanwhile, the low-cost airline Scoot, which is part of the group, recorded nearly 1.06 million passengers, representing a decline of 3.7 percent year on year. The SIA Group's passenger network encompasses 127 destinations, while its cargo services cover 131 locations. This information was reported by Xinhua.
