Suzuki Indonesia is poised to unveil a surprise in 2025. Although details regarding the specific activities remain scarce, it is clear that this initiative is linked to the investments planned for the upcoming year. "It is somewhat premature to disclose specifics at this moment, but I can provide a hint that Suzuki will be quite active next year," remarked Harold Donnel, the 4W Marketing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales, recently in BSD City, Tangerang, Banten. Next year, Suzuki Indonesia is expected to play a crucial role following the closure of its factory, a decision prompted by declining sales in Thailand. "This year, we have already heard about one of Suzuki's unfortunate stories in Thailand, so Suzuki Indonesia will serve as a vital role model for the ASEAN market, and we aim to establish that in 2025," Harold stated. The affable director emphasized that Suzuki's presence in Indonesia extends beyond mere sales; it also encompasses significant investment. "Having been in Indonesia for over 50 years, we do not wish to fall behind by focusing solely on sales," he asserted. "Our commitment lies in manufacturing, which includes creating job opportunities, and we remain dedicated to this principle. Therefore, we will strive to maintain Suzuki's presence in Indonesia through our existing production framework," Harold added. "We will not rely solely on imports; instead, we will enhance our investment value. In the near future, we will demonstrate to the government and the Indonesian public that Suzuki is genuinely committed to the Indonesian automotive market," he concluded.
