The production of automotive spare parts from Indonesia has successfully captured the interest of markets in the Middle East and Africa. This is evidenced by a potential transaction value of USD 4.4 million, approximately IDR 70 billion, achieved by the Indonesian Pavilion at the largest automotive exhibition in the region, Automechanika Dubai 2024. "Indonesia is capable of producing high-quality automotive spare parts that can compete in the global market. This is reflected in the potential transaction achievement of USD 4.4 million at Automechanika Dubai 2024," stated Widy Haryono, Head of the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Dubai. The exhibition is scheduled to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from December 10 to 12, 2024. According to Widy, participation in Automechanika Dubai 2024 represents a strategic move to expand the reach of Indonesian spare parts into the Middle Eastern and African markets.
