Vietjet recently received two advanced A321neo ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex) aircraft from Airbus at the end of 2024. This achievement marks a remarkable year for Vietjet, showcasing consistent growth and ongoing expansion of its flight network, positioning the Vietnamese airline for more successes in 2025. Additionally, on January 8, Vietjet added four wet lease aircraft to its fleet, arriving just in time to meet the rising travel demand during the holiday season. The latest A321neo ACF aircraft are part of the successful A320 family, featuring modern design and a more flexible cabin layout that allows for up to 240 passengers. This A321neo model also significantly reduces emissions and noise compared to earlier models. These updates aim not only to enhance Vietjet's passenger service quality but also to reinforce the airline's commitment to sustainability and its goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. In 2024, Vietjet successfully added 10 new aircraft to its fleet, bringing its total Airbus aircraft count to 115. The airline has also expanded its network to over 170 domestic and international routes, connecting various attractive destinations in Vietnam with countries worldwide, including Indonesia, Australia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, and more. Vietjet's growing flight network is well-equipped to meet the increasing travel needs of both locals and tourists. Currently, Vietjet operates four direct routes between Indonesia and Vietnam, including flights from Jakarta and Bali to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. These routes, along with Vietjet's extensive flight network, make it easier for Indonesian travelers to reach various destinations in Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific region. Vietjet's modern fleet is ready to offer a safe, affordable, and enjoyable travel experience, especially with the new aircraft set to start operating in early 2025. This fleet expansion will boost the airline's capacity to serve flights in the spring and ensure passengers have a comfortable journey during the Lunar New Year holiday.
