The Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 is approaching, with numerous manufacturers set to unveil new products at the event. One of the participants is Aion Indonesia, a brand originating from China, which has announced its readiness to introduce a new four-wheeled vehicle during the exhibition at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. “We have a new car as well, and it is quite large,” stated Andry Ciu, CEO of Aion Indonesia, during a recent event in Yogyakarta. However, he clarified that the new Aion product is still in transit from China. Consequently, Andry Ciu expressed hope that all administrative processes would proceed smoothly, allowing for its display at IIMS 2025 without any obstacles. “We hope it can clear Customs, as its size is quite substantial, around five meters,” he added. Nevertheless, Andry Ciu mentioned that if the new Aion vehicle does not make it to JIExpo Kemayoran, they will organize a launch event at a later date. Aion has long expressed its mission to introduce a seven-passenger vehicle, which Andry Ciu believes has a significant market demand, making it a promising segment for their involvement. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has been reluctant to provide detailed information regarding the new Aion vehicle intended for IIMS 2025. “Indonesian consumers have a strong need and preference for seven-seater vehicles, whether in the form of an MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) or an SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle),” Andry emphasized. It is highly likely that the new Aion vehicle will be the GS8, given its notably large dimensions. With a length of 4,980 mm, a height of
