Mazda Sells 243 Cars At IIMS 2025, Earns IDR162.57 Billion

Japanese automotive manufacturer, Mazda Indonesia recorded sales of 243 units of cars at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 on February 13-23, 2025. Meanwhile, this achievement exceeded Mazda's initial target of 200 units sold at IIMS 2025 held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. 

 Chief Operating Officer of PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia Ricky Thio said that the growth in demand for premium vehicles in Indonesia reflects the increasingly mature automotive market, with customers now prioritizing quality, technology, and design. "We also see a growing trend, where consumers are increasingly interested in sustainable mobility solutions, including electrified and hybrid vehicles," said Ricky in his statement, Friday (2/28/2025). In detail, the Mazda CX-5 recorded sales of 114 units, followed by the Mazda CX-3 which sold 46 units.  

Meanwhile, the Mazda 3 Hatchback also recorded sales of 27 units, and several other Mazda models sold 56 units. Meanwhile, The All-New Mazda CX-80 plug in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) recorded positive results with sales of 6 units, indicating increasing interest in Mazda's hybrid SUV in Indonesia. As a result, from total sales of 243 units at IIMS 2025, Mazda recorded a transaction value of IDR 162.57 billion. "Mazda will continue to present the latest innovations that not only offer superior performance and elegant design, but also support sustainability," he added. For information, Mazda is targeting car sales in Indonesia to reach 6,000 units throughout 2025 even though the automotive market is filled with various challenges.  

Referring to Gaikindo data, Mazda's wholesale sales fell 32.3% on a monthly basis to 180 units in January, compared to 266 units in December 2024. In the latest development, Mazda Indonesia has also expanded its dealer network by inaugurating its 29th dealer in Transyogi, Cibubur on February 25, 2025.
