AirNav Indonesia Anticipates Increase In Flights During Eid

AirNav Indonesia or Perum Lembaga Penyelenggara Layanan Navigation Indonesia (Perum LPPNPI) is ready for air navigation services to support the smooth flow of homecoming and return flights for Eid 2025. This is because during the Eid period the number of flights increases. 

"We have taken strategic steps to maintain flight safety, efficiency, and punctuality throughout Indonesian airspace, such as optimizing routes and airspace management, readiness of personnel and navigation infrastructure facilities, service innovation and synergy with aviation stakeholders," said AirNav Indonesia President Director, Avirianto Suratno, in Tangerang, Monday, March 3, 2025. 

Avirianto said that to anticipate the possibility of bad weather and natural disasters on the aircraft's flight path, his party has prepared a strategy by coordinating with the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in the local area. 

"We can already see the predictions, so the flights can be predicted. We want to depart according to safe weather so that flights can run smoothly," he explained. 

Avirianto explained that the possibility of natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions in Indonesia is also being anticipated. This is done to provide smoothness and security for the aviation world in the country. 

"We support President Prabowo and the Minister of Transportation in preparing for Lebaran, we will improve flight safety, especially related to airlines and airports," he said. 

According to Avirianto, the collaboration step is an effort to ensure safety, operational efficiency, and innovation in air navigation services amidst changes in the aviation industry landscape. 

"We are ready, always ready. To extend, we support the government's program 24 hours a day. And we will synchronize with all airports in Indonesia," he said.
