"The route to Bali is in line with the airline's strategic vision to increase its competitive advantage and expand its global footprint. This also underlines the airline's commitment to expanding its network," said Alallah in a press release in Denpasar, Bali on Tuesday (1/4/2025). The Governor of Bali, I Wayan Koster, appreciated the opening of this route which is expected to increase the number of tourists from Saudi Arabia to Bali. "Last year, the number of tourists from Saudi Arabia reached around 14 thousand people, and in January-February 2025 it was around 2,000 tourists. With this direct flight, of course the number of tourist visits will increase," said Koster. The opening of the Jeddah-Bali route is a strategic step in developing tourism and strengthening international connectivity to Bali with the Middle East tourism market. Currently, Saudia Airlines operates 147 Boeing and Airbus aircraft connecting more than 100 destinations on four continents. The airline is also planning to expand by adding 118 new aircraft to increase seating capacity and introduce additional international routes
