Continuing the story of the film "Maghrib Time" which was released in 2023, Rapi Films presents the sequel "Maghrib Time 2" which will be shown in theaters on May 28, 2025.

"After making the film Maghrib Time in 2023, we received a lot of good responses, especially reviews that said that this film is good for telling children not to play at Maghrib time. So, we feel that this film has value that must be continued," said executive producer Sunil G. Samtani in his statement, Saturday.

The announcement of the release date and the launch of the official poster for the film "Maghrib Time 2" was made on the social media account @rapifilm.

The film is directed by Sidharta Tata, produced by Gope T. Samtani, and produced by Rapi Films in collaboration with Sky Media, Rhaya Flicks, Legacy Pictures, and Kebon Studio.

The film's script was written by Khalid Kashogi, Bayu Kurnia, and Sidharta Tata, and will feature young players such as Omar Daniel, Anantya Kirana, Sulthan Hamonangan, Ghazi Alhabsyi, Muzakki Ramdhan, Sadana Agung, Nopek Novian, Bagas Pratama Saputra, and Fita Anggriani.

"Maghrib Time 2" tells the story 20 years after the incident experienced by Adi and his friends in Jatijajar in the first film, Jin Ummu Sibyan returns to terrorize children in a village, this time in Giritirto.

Yogo, Dewo, and Wulan along with five other children are involved in a brawl at a soccer match between the main and reserve players. Losing in the brawl, they rush back to the village at maghrib time. Along the way they curse the main soccer team to be hit by a disaster.

Without them realizing it, they have caused a disaster like the Jatijajar incident. In the middle of the forest and the cold night, Ummu Sibyan possesses one of them to hunt down the lives of children without mercy.

"The characters in this sequel will be more diverse and will definitely be an entertaining, deeper, and more suspenseful horror film," said Sunil.
