Wednesday, 24 Jul 2024

Hyundai's all-new KONA Electric has just officially entered the Indonesian automotive market on July 17 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024. This model makes history as the first Electric Vehicle (EV) to use batteries produced in Indonesia with the highest level of local components currently. Its presence reflects Hyundai's commitment to supporting the development of the battery industry domestically and paving the way for the future of vehicle electrification in Indonesia.

The all-new KONA Electric also brings a breath of fresh air to the automotive industry in the country with a range of features ready to upgrade the driving experience, one of which is Hyundai Bluelink. As an innovative Connected Car Service with cutting-edge connectivity, Hyundai Bluelink is specially designed to make the driving experience safer, easier, and more enjoyable.

What's even more interesting is that Hyundai Bluelink has now been enhanced with updates and additions to several features that are currently only available in the all-new KONA Electric. See how the upgrade to Hyundai Bluelink allows users to experience owning an EV that is increasingly well-connected.

Monitor your vehicle's condition in real-time with Hyundai Bluelink

Safety is a top priority while driving. In addition to prioritizing driving safety, drivers also need to ensure that the environment around the vehicle is always safe.

To make it easier for users to see the surroundings of the vehicle, the Hyundai Bluelink app is now equipped with View Around My Vehicle. This feature can provide a 360-degree view from various angles, including top, front, rear, left, and right, when the vehicle is locked. If something happens to the vehicle, users will receive notifications from the Hyundai Bluelink app and can view images of the situation as if they were holding a CCTV camera in their hands.

Furthermore, Hyundai Bluelink also introduces Auto Collision Notification (ACN), a feature that automatically sends notifications to the Hyundai Call Center in case of unwanted events. For example, if an accident occurs and the airbag deploys, ACN will send a notification to the Hyundai Call Center, and the call center operator will immediately contact the user to ensure their condition and provide necessary assistance.

To further enhance vehicle security, Hyundai Bluelink is equipped with features that help users respond more quickly in case of theft. These features include Stolen Vehicle Notification, which sends notifications to the smartphone when there is an attempt to forcefully open the car door. There is also Stolen Vehicle Tracking, which tracks the car through location and route information, and Stolen Vehicle Immobilization, which will completely stop the vehicle's movement after a verified request by the Hyundai Call Center.

Moreover, the Hyundai Bluelink app will now also provide notifications to the user's smartphone if the driver forgets to close the door, engine hood, trunk, sunroof, or during vehicle battery charging if it exceeds the capacity.

Even when using valet parking services, users can protect their personal information by disabling controls on the infotainment system and monitoring the car's condition through the app using the Valet Mode feature.

Driving an EV is even more comfortable thanks to the seamless connectivity of Hyundai Bluelink.

Hyundai Bluelink in the all-new KONA Electric is more than just a regular navigation system. Its advanced features allow users to control various vehicle functions remotely, making the driving experience more comfortable.

Imagine wanting to start a pleasant journey, but the vehicle is still parked in an open space. Of course, the driver wouldn't want to experience the scorching heat of the sun trapped inside their vehicle.
