The 2024 Isuzu MU-X And 2024 Isuzu D-Max SC Look Tougher And More Rugged

Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) has officially introduced the Isuzu MU-X 2024 and Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024. Both have received several changes in terms of exterior and interior nuances, making them fresher and ready to be the choice for Isuzu Partners in need of off-road vehicles.

Yusak Kristian Solaeman, President Director of PT IAMI, explained that the Isuzu MU-X 2024 and Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 offer specifications that are capable of crossing various off-road terrains. Additionally, both vehicles in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment also have a rugged and tough appearance, providing more confidence when driving them on various occasions.

At GIIAS 2024, the Isuzu MU-X 2024 is displayed with the concept of an overlanding essentials sport utility vehicle (SUV), where the Isuzu MU-X is suitable as a partner for adventurers to conquer all terrains.

On the other hand, the Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 adopts a Mining concept, making it suitable for use in segments such as plantations, mining, oil & gas, and rental companies serving those segments that require a 4x4 vehicle in various off-road terrains. All of this reflects the spirit of 'Real Partner, Real Journey' that Isuzu embodies in meeting all the business needs of Isuzu Partners," explained Yusak Kristian Solaeman.

Isuzu has refreshed the appearance of the Isuzu MU-X 4x4 with a bolder and tougher look, including performance in crossing various road conditions. The Isuzu MU-X 4x4 2024 is designed with a RZ4E Turbo common rail diesel engine capable of producing 150 PS of power and 35.7 kgm of torque. Its performance is more efficient yet still robust with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the Isuzu MU-X 2024 is equipped with an 80L fuel tank.

The Isuzu MU-X 4x4 2024 offers a wider business opportunity for drivers, with its ability to tackle off-road terrain using the Rough Terrain mode with better traction than LSD (Limited-slip differential). The vehicle is equipped with radiator and intercooler protection behind the grill and underbody protection from front to back, allowing drivers to feel more confident when driving on any terrain, including rivers with a depth of up to 80 cm thanks to its Water Wading Depth feature.

The safety features of the Isuzu MU-X 4x4 2024 are designed to meet high standards, including ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System), EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution), BA (Brake Assist), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), TCS (Traction Control System), HSA (Hill Start Assist) & HDC (Hill Descent Control), as well as larger disk brakes. Additional features include an emergency stop signal and follow me home. The performance of the Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 is powerful thanks to the RZ4E Turbo common rail diesel engine, capable of producing 150 PS of power and 35.7 kgm of torque. Its performance is more efficient yet still tough with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Isuzu D-Max SC 2024 is also equipped with a 76L fuel tank. Its off-road capabilities are impressive with 4H and 4L modes, and it comes with Rear Diff Lock that provides better traction than Limited-Slip Differential (LSD). The Isuzu D-Max Single Cabin 2024 is also equipped with radiator and intercooler protection behind the grill and underbody protection from front to back, allowing drivers to feel more confident when driving on any terrain.
