After successfully conquering Java with a ride from Jakarta to Banyuwangi covering over 1,300 kilometers, the NMAX Tour Boemi Nusantara is now kicking off its fourth stage with a route through Bali and NTB. This stage is pretty special because it boasts stunning natural beauty and a diverse landscape that includes coastal areas, hills, mountains, savannahs, and bustling urban roads. It's no surprise that during this leg, participants are really putting the NMAX "TURBO" to the test. They’re experiencing the latest Blue Core 155cc VVA engine performance with YECVT technology, along with the bike's handling, riding comfort, navigation system, and other advanced features of the newest NMAX model. “We welcome our media friends, bloggers, and vloggers who are part of the fourth stage of the NMAX Tour Boemi Nusantara. This time, we’ll take participants on a ride of about 470 kilometers to explore the rich culture and natural beauty of Bali and Lombok. The varied road conditions while exploring these islands are perfect for testing out the latest features on the bike, especially the TURBO Y-shift and TURBO Riding Mode,” said Hendra Wijaya, Chief Yamaha Area Bali, PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg. The fourth stage kicks off from the Yamaha Flagship Shop in Denpasar, Bali. After the send-off, the group heads north towards Lake Beratan and Lake Tamblingan in Bedugul, which offers a mountainous route. This is when many participants get to try out the Y-Shift feature for accelerating on steep climbs and decelerating on sharp descents. After thoroughly exploring both lakes, the participants continued their journey to Buleleng to soak in the beauty of Bali's northern beaches. "The first day of this Bali tour was a blast! The route to Lake Beratan and Tamblingan was full of ups and downs, and we really got to test out the Y-Shift feature here. Personally, I think this feature works wonders for acceleration on the climbs, making the bike feel powerful and never running out of steam. Plus, it also acts as an engine brake for deceleration," shared Manik, a blogger who joined the tour. As they entered day two, the sightseeing spots were just as captivating. First, they visited the Tianyar Savannah, which offered a stunning view of grassy steppes with Mount Kintamani in the background. The sandy and rocky roads posed a unique challenge for the participants on their way there. After leaving Tianyar Savannah, they continued along the West Bali coast to Tulamben, finishing at Padang Bai Harbor before taking a boat to Lembar Harbor in Lombok. On the third day of the trip, the touring route in Lombok led them to Sembalun, known for its breathtaking views of Mount Rinjani and other peaks. As they made their way there, the group passed through East Lombok, enjoying the stunning ocean views and dramatic cliffs. Once they reached Sembalun, the exploration continued to Kuta Mandalika, where they even stopped by the Mandalika Circuit. The NMAX Tour Boemi Nusantara series from Java to Bali has come to an end, and next up is the Sumatra series, kicking off with the Aceh to Medan leg on August 15.
