Honda's Sales Are On The Rise, Thanks To Their SUV Lineup In August 2024

PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) is back with some great sales news, hitting 8,515 units sold in August 2024. That’s a solid 10% increase from the previous month, thanks to popular Honda SUV models like the HR-V, BR-V, and WR-V. The Honda HR-V led the pack with 1,523 units sold, marking a 28% rise from last month. The Honda BR-V also did well, selling 842 units, which is a whopping 46% increase. In the Compact SUV category, the Honda WR-V sold 1,127 units, while the CR-V added 220 units to the tally.

On top of that, the Honda Brio continues to be the star of the show, making up 53% of Honda's total sales with 4,558 units sold in August 2024. So far this year, Honda has racked up a total of 67,905 retail sales, securing a spot in the top three for national automotive sales.

Yusak Billy, the Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director at PT HPM, mentioned, “August 2024 sales were boosted by the GIIAS 2024 exhibition held in July. We’re grateful that popular models like the Honda Brio and HR-V are still in high demand. We hope this positive trend continues with more major auto shows happening across Indonesia.”
