The excitement of the MAXi Yamaha Day 2024 event is rolling on! After a successful gathering last week in Sambas, West Kalimantan, this weekend (September 21-22), the big event that unites MAXi Yamaha bikers is happening simultaneously in Bandung, Medan, and Banyuwangi. Sticking to the ride & camp concept that’s been a hit since 2018, over 1,000 loyal MAXi Yamaha bikers from these three regions are coming together to connect and have a blast, sharing their passion for adventure through challenging tours and camping in the great outdoors, which really boosts the A TRU BRO spirit among MAXi Yamaha users. This year, Natural Hill Lembang (Bandung), Danau Lau Kawar (Medan), and Pantai Mutiara Pulau Tabuhan (Banyuwangi) have been chosen as the venues for MAXi Yamaha Day. Each location has its own unique charm and features, providing participants with a diverse camping experience surrounded by nature. “This weekend, the MAXi Yamaha Day events will kick off simultaneously in Bandung, Medan, and Banyuwangi. These spots not only have a strong community of MAXi Yamaha fans but also offer fun touring routes, from the mountains in Lembang to the lakes in Karo and the beaches in Banyuwangi, catering to the lifestyle and riding hobbies of MAXi enthusiasts in Indonesia. That’s why the ride & camp concept is the core element we consistently uphold to foster a strong sense of solidarity within the community,” said Rifki Maulana, Manager of Public Relations at Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg. The MAXi Yamaha Day events in Bandung, Medan, and Banyuwangi will kick off with the release of touring groups from various starting points in West Java, North Sumatra, and East Java. The group then set off on a journey covering hundreds of kilometers to the venue, passing through various interesting and photogenic tourist spots along the way. In the Bandung and Medan areas, participants navigated steep mountain roads with sharp turns that really got the adrenaline pumping. Meanwhile, in Banyuwangi, they enjoyed the straight coastal routes, basking in the warm sunshine and gentle sea breezes. After tackling all those winding and challenging terrains, the touring group finally arrived at their respective venues. Exciting news came from Bandung, where not only the participants were present, but also a group of bikers from the Jurnalis MAXi Community (JMC) who rode in from Jakarta, adding to the event's excitement with their lineup of NMAX “TURBO” bikes, embodying the spirit of A TRU BRO. The MAXi Yamaha Day events kicked off in each area with lively celebrations. Participants eagerly joined in on a variety of activities, including rafting on the lake, snorkeling, a modification contest, a lip sync battle, fun games with prizes, and performances by local artists that enhanced the festive atmosphere and camaraderie among everyone. The second day was just as thrilling. The next morning, participants gathered bright and early for a group workout. Following that, some community representatives took part in a CSR activity focused on local community development and environmental preservation, showcasing Yamaha's commitment to moving forward alongside the people of Indonesia. "I have to say, this year's event was incredibly fun. Not only did I get to tour again with friends from different regions, but this year's activities were way more exciting, with more adventure activities, prize games, and captivating performances by local artists."
