Jeju Air, a leading low-cost airline from South Korea, has officially launched a direct international route connecting South Korea to Bali, Indonesia. The inaugural flight for this new route successfully departed from Incheon International Airport (ICN) at 3:40 PM local time and arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar (DPS) at 9:50 PM local time. The return flight from Denpasar to Incheon is scheduled for 11:05 PM local time. In the future, Jeju Air plans to operate daily flights on this route using Boeing 737-NG and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. This new route marks an important step for Jeju Air in expanding its network in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia. Bali, known for its stunning natural beauty, unique local culture, and friendly residents, is a world-class tourist destination that attracts many international travelers. With the launch of this direct flight, it is expected to facilitate more South Korean tourists wishing to experience the charm of Bali and strengthen the tourism sector between the two countries. This inaugural flight marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between Jeju Air and PT JAS Aero Engineering Services (JAE). JAE is a leading provider of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services in Indonesia, with over 20 years of experience ensuring that aircraft meet safety and security standards through flight certification services. To support Jeju Air's operations in Bali, JAE will ensure that each aircraft meets these standards and is ready for optimal travel. Iman Sinambela, the President Director of PT JAS Aero Engineering Services, expressed excitement about this collaboration. "We are thrilled to support Jeju Air in providing a safe and comfortable flying experience for passengers, and to contribute to enhancing connectivity between South Korea and Indonesia with reliable, internationally-standard technical support." Jeju Air is the third airline from South Korea served by JAE, highlighting the significant trust JAE has earned from international airlines from this country.
