The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, General Police (Ret.) His presence was to honor the invitation from the Russian Ambassador as a guest of honor representing the Indonesian government. In his speech, Budi Gunawan congratulated the Russian government and people, reaffirming the long history of friendship based on mutual respect and cooperation. As they approach 75 years of diplomatic relations next year, he expressed hope for the continued growth of this partnership in various strategic areas. "We are making progress in the free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union, which will create more business opportunities," Budi Gunawan stated on Tuesday (November 5, 2024). The former head of BIN is optimistic that enhanced economic cooperation will benefit both countries. Additionally, Budi Gunawan welcomed the new direct flights between Moscow and Denpasar by Aeroflot. He expressed confidence that this flight route will support tourism and cultural exchange between the two nations, strengthening the already close ties between their citizens. This collaboration reflects the strong relationship between the two countries and Indonesia's commitment to enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation on the international stage, emphasized the former Deputy Chief of Police.
