Vietjet and Emirates have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at improving connectivity and expanding travel options between major cities in Vietnam and Dubai, UAE. The signing ceremony took place at the Vietnam-UAE Business Forum, attended by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. This agreement seeks to strengthen tourism and trade relations between the two nations, thereby creating new economic and commercial opportunities. Furthermore, the agreement will enhance Emirates' connectivity to popular destinations within Vietjet's domestic and regional network, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, while also providing Vietjet customers with improved access to Emirates' global network through its Dubai hub. This partnership facilitates easier single-ticket bookings across both airlines, resulting in a smoother and more convenient travel experience. Additionally, it lays the groundwork for both airlines to explore technological advancements and digital progress within the aviation industry. Vietjet CEO Dinh Viet Phuong expressed gratitude to Emirates for its trust in partnering with Vietjet to strengthen flight networks and enhance passenger connectivity. “With Emirates' exceptional services, Vietjet passengers can access global destinations at highly competitive rates, supporting economic and cultural growth between Vietnam and the UAE,” he stated. Emirates Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim views Vietnam as a market with remarkable potential for boosting tourism and trade. “We look forward to expanding our footprint in Vietnam alongside Vietjet and exploring further opportunities to broaden the scope of our partnership in the future,” he explained.
