TransNusa Launches Denpasar-Perth Flights, Check Ticket Prices

TransNusa Airlines has announced the launch of its round-trip international flights on the Denpasar-Perth route. Ticket sales will commence on January 15, 2025, with the inaugural flight scheduled for March 20, 2025. "We are very excited and proud to introduce the Denpasar-Perth route. This route is expected to have a positive impact on the tourism sectors of both countries and serves as a testament to our focus and capabilities on the international stage," stated Bayu Sutanto, the CEO of TransNusa, in an official release received by Kompas.com on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. 

He further noted that TransNusa has experienced significant growth over the past two years, and the opening of the Denpasar-Perth route marks a historic milestone for the airline. "We are committed to continuously providing safe, comfortable, and affordable flight services for all passengers," he added. 

TransNusa will operate the Denpasar-Perth round-trip service using Airbus A320 aircraft, which have a capacity of 174 seats. Tickets can be purchased through the official TransNusa website and various online travel agents (OTAs). The fare for the Denpasar-Perth route starts at IDR 1,799,000 for a one-way trip, which includes a complimentary 15-kilogram baggage allowance. 

According to Bayu, this new route not only represents a significant breakthrough for TransNusa but also creates substantial opportunities to strengthen the relationship between Indonesia and Australia. Additionally, it is expected to foster dynamic growth in the tourism and economic sectors of both nations. "The opening of this route is anticipated to act as a catalyst for increasing tourist flows between the two countries," he explained.
