Garuda Indonesia (GIAA) Offers Umrah Tickets Starting At Rp13.9 Million

Thursday, 06 Feb 2025

PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk. (GIAA) is offering affordable flight tickets for Umrah and Hajj Plus packages, as well as promotional deals for group bookings, starting at Rp13.9 million. Ade R. Susardi, the Commercial Director of Garuda Indonesia, stated that during this year's Garuda Indonesia Umrah Travel Fair (GUTF), various Umrah travel packages can be booked for flights up to January 2026. "We are presenting special promotional flight tickets for group bookings, starting at Rp13.9 million for round-trip flights to Jeddah and Rp14.4 million for round-trip flights to Madinah," he mentioned in an official statement on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. This event also reflects Garuda Indonesia's optimism regarding the Umrah and Hajj travel industry amid the high public interest in performing religious duties in the Holy Land, considering Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world.

In comparison, during the previous GUTF in 2024, Garuda Indonesia recorded a total ticket purchase transaction for 28,295 passengers. Unlike in previous years, Garuda Indonesia is not only holding GUTF in Jakarta but also in two other major cities in Indonesia, namely Surabaya and Makassar. The GUTF will take place simultaneously from February 7 to 9, 2025.

The company has partnered with over 60 travel agencies specializing in Hajj and Umrah to assist in planning the journeys of prospective pilgrims. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to access various attractive offers to support their preparations for the pilgrimage to the Holy Land. These include Umrah flight tickets starting at Rp11.7 million through the Happy Hour Ticket program, a Welcome Bonus of up to 1,000 Miles for new users, a 20% discount on Lounge Access at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, up to 25% off Prepaid Baggage purchases, and discounts of up to 40% for shopping at Garuda Shop.
