The State-Owned Aviation and Tourism Holding, PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney through its subsidiary PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia or InJourney Airports supports the government's policy to reduce airline ticket prices during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446 H. This is a major effort by InJourney to provide a direct impact on the community in order to stimulate domestic aviation and have a positive impact on the Indonesian economy and tourism. The support provided by InJourney Airports is in the form of a reduction in airport service rates, which applies to aircraft passengers and airlines. The reduction in rates for aircraft passengers is in the form of a 50 percent discount on Aircraft Passenger Service Charge (PJP2U) and Aircraft Landing, Placement, and Storage Services (PJP4U). This reduction in airport service rates has a direct impact on reducing airline ticket prices. "InJourney is ready to support the policy of reducing airline ticket prices for people who want to travel during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446 H. InJourney hopes to make this policy a success by providing a reduction in airport service rates," said InJourney President Director Maya Watono as quoted from a press release, Sunday, March 2, 2025. In addition, Maya continued, InJourney will also prepare airports under InJourney Airports to welcome the surge in arrivals during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1446 H, so that this year's homecoming season can run smoothly and create an extraordinary multiplier effect for economic growth. InJourney Airports President Director Faik Fahmi said that his party is providing a tariff reduction for airline passengers in the form of a 50 percent discount on PJP2U and rates for landing (landing fee) and aircraft placement (parking fee) or PJP4U for domestic routes. He hopes that this tariff reduction will encourage a decrease in airline ticket prices, which in the end can help people who want to use air transportation services. "In addition, the increase in air transport service users will help boost the aviation industry, as well as the Indonesian economy," said Faik.
