Starting April 2025, traveling from Bali to Bangkok will be easier and more comfortable. Thai Lion Air has launched a direct flight route connecting these two popular destinations, with a flexible flight schedule. Thai Lion Air officially opened a direct flight route from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali (DPS) to Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok (DMK) starting March 3, 2025. In a week, the aircraft serves four flights, namely on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from Bali (DPS) - Bangkok (DMK) SL-259 at 18.20 WITA and 21.40 ICT (Indochina time). Then, from Bangkok to Bali SL-258 on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday at 11.55 ICT and 17.20 WITA. Then, starting April 10, 2025, Bali-Bangkok-Bali flights will be available every day with a frequency of seven times a week. "It provides more travel options for tourists and business people," said Corporate Communications Strategic of Wings Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, in a release to detikTravel, Thursday (3/4). To facilitate booking, arranging travel, and checking in online, Thai Lion Air recommends customers to use the BookCabin application. Thai Lion Air operates the latest generation Boeing 737-800NG aircraft (capacity of 189 economy class seats) and Boeing 737-900ER (capacity of 215 economy class seats) for the flight. "The opening of the route is a strategic step by Thai Lion Air in supporting tourism growth and strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Thailand. Tourists from both countries can enjoy easier, faster, and more efficient travel, while encouraging an increase in the number of tourist visits to each destination," said Danang.
