Vietjet Launches Da Nang-Ahmedabad Route

Vietjet has launched a direct flight service from Da Nang to the lively city of Ahmedabad in India. This new route strengthens Vietjet’s role as the airline with the most connections between Vietnam and India, expanding its already large flight network.

The Da Nang-Ahmedabad service will operate two round-trip flights each week, boosting travel and trade links while encouraging tourism and cultural exchanges throughout Asia. With these added flights, travelers from Northeast and Southeast Asia can more easily connect through Da Nang to reach major Indian cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, and now Ahmedabad, thanks to Vietjet’s wide network.

Since 2019, Vietjet has been a leader in establishing direct routes between Vietnam and India. This new route increases the airline’s network to 8 routes and 60 weekly flights, linking Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang with New Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, and Ahmedabad.

Da Nang is known for its stunning beaches and beautiful scenery, making it the most livable city in Vietnam. It serves as a gateway to Central Vietnam's cultural sites, such as the ancient town of Hoi An, the My Son archaeological site, and the historic city of Hue. In a similar way, Ahmedabad, a key city in Gujarat, India, is famous for its rich culture, notable landmarks, and lively food scene.

The route from Da Nang to Ahmedabad is part of Vietjet's plan to grow its flight network in Asia. The airline already connects Singapore with major Vietnamese cities like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, offering easy travel options for people in Singapore. Vietjet also intends to introduce new routes from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur and from Nha Trang to Daegu, while resuming the Ho Chi Minh City-Tainan route and increasing flight frequencies in the area.

To support its expansion, Vietjet has recently added a new aircraft to its fleet and anticipates more deliveries by the end of the year. With its skilled and dedicated crews, these new additions aim to meet the rising travel demand and provide passengers with excellent flying experiences.
