Erick Thohir Is Enhancing The Digital Influencer Capabilities Of State-owned Enterprises In Makassar Once Again

Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir once again showed his attention to the digital capabilities of state-owned enterprise employees through the holding of the BUMN Influencer Workshop in Sulawesi at Hotel MaxOne, Makassar, South Sulawesi from Thursday (20/06) to Saturday (22/06). Makassar itself is the 6th city visited in the series of BUMN Influencer Workshops.

The event, attended by a total of 100 BUMN influencers from all over Sulawesi, provided training on maximizing social media strategies, including creating engaging content, developing communication narratives, and building brands for companies and themselves.

Erick Thohir, through the Special Staff III of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Arya Sinulingga, emphasized the importance of good digital capabilities for BUMN employees, especially BUMN influencers, as one of the benefits is the formation of a profitable branding for the company and themselves.

"Digital capabilities are important, one must understand the purpose and benefits of social media. We need to show the public about the positive and strategic roles of BUMN jobs in national development.

The more someone spreads good news about their company, the stronger the branding will be for the company and themselves. From there, opportunities will open up, both for personal development and to support the advancement of the BUMN workplace," said Arya.

The Makassar BUMN Influencer Workshop, representing Sulawesi Island, was made possible through collaboration between the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, Pelindo, Semen Indonesia (SIG), and BTN. Previously, similar activities have been carried out in Jakarta, East Java, Central Java, Bali-Nusa Tenggara, and Kalimantan.

Abdul Azis, the Executive Director of Pelindo Regional 4, mentioned in his opening speech that the role of employees in spreading the company's programs and achievements on social media is a special concern. This is because negative news that arises in society can be anticipated by the spread of positive information from employees on social media.

This event consists of several sessions, one of which is a talk show about storytelling and social media management. There are several speakers who share their knowledge with the participants, namely Kamila Andinisari, a famous film director known for the 'Gadis Kretek' series, Tommy Teja and Reynaldi Francois, Content Creators, and CEO Zando.

In addition, to implement the given material, there is a workshop session where participants create content related to BUMN assets at Makassar New Port owned by Pelindo and Geosite Bulu Sipong, Taman Kehati, Pangkep, managed by Semen Tonasa.

All BUMN Kalimantan influencers are also invited to pay more attention to mental health through the event called 1000 Manusia Bercerita. The Influencer Workshop for BUMN Kalimantan concluded with a 5K morning run together with representatives from BUMN Runners Sulawesi, passing through strategic locations in Makassar.
