PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa, IDX: ELSA), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) within Pertamina's Upstream Subholding, is actively pursuing development and innovation to foster future business growth. This initiative includes enhancing operational capacity, optimizing strategic projects, and exploring new technologies in the energy sector. Various advancements are underway, such as Pipeline Integrity Management, Well Production Improvement, Fabrications, Idle Well Solutions, EV Ecosystems, and Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage (CCUS). Arief Prasetyo Handoyo, Elnusa's Business Development Director, stated, "Currently, Elnusa is developing domestic technology for pipe cleaning and inspection known as pigging. This process involves launching a device called the Pipeline Inspector Gauge (PIG), which is used for cleaning and inspecting pipeline systems. Elnusa continuously improves the quality of both products and services in every Pigging activity, including the creation and development of supporting products like Foam PIG, which serves as the primary material in the pipe cleaning process." Additionally, Elnusa is working on a Binary Heat Exchanger for Geothermal applications and an Inflow Control Device (Downhole Flow Regulator), along with the Ecolift Hydraulic Pumping Unit to optimize idle wells. This development is a collaboration between Pertamina's subholdings and PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE). Elnusa's commitment to sustainable energy is also reflected in the development of Battery Charging Stations within the electric vehicle ecosystem (EV Ecosystems) and the implementation of Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage (CCUS) technology to support the energy transition. In the area of Pipeline Integrity Management, Elnusa has developed In-Line Inspection Services to ensure the reliability and safety of pipeline networks. Meanwhile, in Well Production Improvement, Elnusa introduces innovations such as Pertasolvent, Hydraulic Dilation Water Pumping, and Automatic Well Performance Analyzer to enhance efficiency and optimize oil and gas well production. Arief stated that this business development initiative reflects Elnusa's commitment to supporting national energy resilience. "We are continuously accelerating business development through innovations that not only improve operational efficiency but also contribute to national energy security and industry sustainability. With a focused strategy, Elnusa is prepared to tackle future challenges in the energy sector," Arief said. To demonstrate its commitment to sustainable business growth, Elnusa has allocated a capital expenditure of Rp 594 billion for 2025, aimed at strengthening its core business segments. Of this total allocation, 56.4% is designated for Upstream & Support Services, 30.3% for Energy Distribution & Logistics, and 13.3% for Non-Project and New Business Development. Elnusa adopts prudent and targeted business development and investment principles, in line with corporate governance and risk management, to ensure long-term benefits for the energy industry and all stakeholders.
