Astra Financial Ends GIIAS 2024 Tangerang With Positive Performance

The GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City from July 18-28, 2024 has concluded successfully, attracting automotive enthusiasts. Astra Financial, as the platinum sponsor, along with its ten business units, exceeded expectations with a transaction value of Rp2.53 trillion, marking a 4.70% increase from the previous year. The number of vehicle booking achievements reached 6,780. This year marks the sixth consecutive year that Astra Financial has acted as the platinum sponsor at GIIAS since 2018. The ten business units under Astra Financial, including FIFGROUP, Astra Credit Companies (ACC), Toyota Astra Finance (TAF), Asuransi Astra, Astra Life, SEVA, AstraPay, Maucash, Moxa, and Bank Saqu, delivered satisfactory performance. Suparno Djasmin, the Director-in-Charge of Astra Financial, stated: "Astra Financial is committed to supporting the growth of the national automotive industry by participating as the platinum sponsor at GIIAS 2024. Previously, we targeted a transaction value of Rp2.8 trillion for GIIAS Tangerang and Surabaya. By the end of the event in Tangerang, the transaction value reached Rp2.53 trillion, exceeding 100% of the targeted Rp2.4 trillion." Tan Chian Hok, the Project Director of Astra Financial GIIAS 2024, revealed: "The transaction achievements are undoubtedly due to the public's trust in Astra Financial's reputation and excellent service. This was also driven by various attractive promotions introduced to facilitate GIIAS 2024 visitors in owning their dream vehicles." Promotions offered include ACC & TAF for four-wheeled vehicle financing, FIFGROUP for two-wheeled vehicle financing, vehicle protection from Asuransi Astra, and life protection from Astra Life. Supported by digital financial services SEVA, AstraPay, Maucash, Moxa, and Bank Saqu, which also provide special programs to facilitate transactions during GIIAS 2024. Throughout the 11 days of GIIAS 2024 at ICE BSD Tangerang, all Astra Financial business units were able to demonstrate excellent performance.

Four-Wheeler Financing Business

Transactions for four-wheelers recorded by Astra Financial through ACC and TAF at GIIAS 2024 increased by 4.80% annually to Rp2.47 trillion from 6,210 SPK compared to last year's GIIAS. Based on transactions that occurred at Astra Financial during the GIIAS event in Tangerang, the composition of financing with the highest demand was for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) four-wheelers, totaling 4,865 units or 78.34%.

Second place was followed by Hybrid Electrical Vehicle (HEV) cars with 1,261 units, or 20.31%, and third was Battery Electrical Vehicle (BEV) cars with 84 units or 1.35%.

Two-Wheeler Financing Business

Meanwhile, transactions for Honda motorcycles carried out by FIFGROUP at GIIAS 2024 reached Rp12.42 billion. In terms of the number of units financed, it was almost the same as last year's achievement, from 567 units to 570 units.

Insurance Business

For vehicle protection at Astra Insurance, the premium value recorded for cash purchase insurance at the GIIAS 2024 event reached Rp2.78 billion. This figure increased by 21.40% compared to GIIAS 2023, which was recorded at Rp2.28 billion.

As for life protection, Astra Life recorded positive growth with a credit life insurance value of Rp27.01 billion compared to last year's Rp26.68 billion.

Digital Financial Business

SEVA as an online platform offering new cars with clear credit calculations successfully recorded 4,567 instant approvals, which is 130% of the set target through the main features of Loan Calculator and Instant Approval.
