Following The Acquisition Of MD Entertainment, NET Is Developing A Contemporary Drama Content Strategy

NET, a subsidiary of PT MDTV Media Technologies Tbk, is poised to make a significant impact with its latest initiative, focusing on contemporary drama content strategies. The network will premiere two new television drama series, "Layangan Putus" at 9:00 PM WIB and "Kisah Untuk Geri" at 4:00 PM WIB, starting December 16, 2024.

In addition to these two new series, NET is also preparing to air other popular television dramas, including "My Lecturer My Husband," "Antares," "Satu Amin Dua Iman," and "Kupu Malam," catering to its audience.

Esmal Diansyah, Programming & Content Director of NET, stated that the introduction of these popular series produced by MD Entertainment reflects NET's commitment to delivering relevant and entertaining narratives to its viewers.

“With an improved content strategy moving forward, we have high hopes for growth and competitiveness in the broadcasting industry. Currently, NET is implementing various enhancements and changes through engaging drama content to remain close to the hearts of our audience, while also fostering partnerships and collaborations with our business associates,” Esmal explained.

The drama "Layangan Putus" is among the highlights that NET will present, featuring a poignant story of heartbreak that has gained significant attention in society. Directed by Benni Setiawan, the series showcases remarkable performances by Reza Rahadian and Putri Marino. This emotionally charged narrative promises to resonate with viewers, offering reflections on loyalty and true love.

Meanwhile, "Kisah Untuk Geri" is another highly anticipated romantic drama series in Indonesia, eagerly awaited by television audiences. This series is adapted from a novel available on the Wattpad platform, authored by Erisca Febriani.
