Putri Widhiasari Kusumaningtyas's graceful steps as she walked amidst the hustle and bustle of the market made the spotlight. Puteri Indonesia Youth Culture 2023 made the place a catwalk. Not just showing off her style, Putri used the moment to introduce Indonesian culture to the younger generation, especially Gen Z. In her act, the girl born on March 29, 2008 was seen wearing suntiang, paes, and kembang goyang, which are the three cultural elements designed by Coco Rama. “I introduced a little bit of Indonesian culture in the form of suntiang, paes, kembang goyang,” Putri said when met in the East Jakarta area, Saturday (14/02). “We catwalked in a public place in one of the spilled markets at Pasar Enjo Pisangan, East Jakarta,” she added. While at the market, Putri Widhiasari Kusumaningtyas also invited Gen Z to hang out together while wearing traditional clothes. “Gen Z hang out by wearing Central Javanese traditional clothes and introducing paes Jogja putri,” she said. In addition, Putri also invited the public to take pictures together wearing Mojang traditional clothes complete with rocking flowers. “Taking selfies in the park wearing Mojang clothes with rocking flowers with the existing community, to introduce a little Indonesian culture,” she said. Putri's unique action was warmly welcomed by the surrounding community. Many were enthusiastic and even asked about her outfit. “It was good, so enthusiastic that they asked for photos. We also have a question and answer session about what was worn at that time and explain about the clothes worn,” he said.
