Puteri Indonesia DKI Jakarta 3 Sarah Sentoso Campaigns For Water Security

Sarah Sentoso, who was selected as the winner of the prestigious Puteri Indonesia DKI Jakarta 3 2025 sash, brings a strong vision for Indonesia's progress through a campaign on water security and sustainability. As an educated woman, she raised the topic because she is aware of the importance of access to clean water for a better life in Indonesia, especially in areas that have challenges in providing these natural resources. 

Not only that, in this case, the owner of the Instagram social media account @sarahsentosoo was also chosen as a teaching assistant in the field of micro and macroeconomics, which shows her intellectual strength. During her studies abroad, Sarah also actively contributed as President of Permias New York and worked at the United Nations Headquarters, especially in the Department of Strategy, Policy, and Compliance Management. 

Commitment to Sustainability and Renewable Energy 

As a professional who currently works as an expert staff at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin Indonesia), Sarah studies the energy, mineral resources, and strategic industry sectors. 

One of the important initiatives she has implemented is advocacy through Solar Chapter, which aims to provide clean water access to villages in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) using solar-powered water pumps. "In my opinion, innovations like this not only provide solutions to the water crisis in Indonesia, but also support the transition to environmentally friendly renewable energy," she told TIMES Indonesia in a written statement, Tuesday (2/4/2025). 

Supporting Indonesia's Vision of Energy and Water Security 

Sarah Sentoso is further convinced and believes that if she is elected as Puteri Indonesia 2025, of course she can further voice and fight for water and energy security as part of Indonesia's sustainability. She is determined to support the vision of the Indonesian Government in improving water and energy security and contributing to achieving Indonesia's economic growth target of 8%. "In my view, sustainability is not only an environmental issue, but must also be part of an inclusive and sustainable economic development agenda," she explained. 

Inspiring the Young Generation 

Through her new role as Puteri Indonesia DKI Jakarta 3 2025, Sarah hopes to inspire the young generation to care more about sustainability, and to mobilize more initiatives to create innovative solutions that support environmental sustainability. To that end, Sarah is not only someone with perfect beauty, but also a symbol of women who are empowered in facing major challenges in this world, especially in overcoming the water and energy crisis.
