Implement BIM At IKN, Brantas Abipraya Wins First Place In IKN BIM Competition 2024

Brantas Abipraya (Persero) once again achieved 1st place in the IKN BIM Competition 2024 held by the Indonesia Construction Summit. Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology has become a necessity for the construction industry in Indonesia because it has had a positive impact on the planning process, construction process, and building operation. This 1st place achievement is the result of the application of BIM to Brantas Abipraya's project at IKN.

Brantas Abipraya continues to focus on building the nation through superior infrastructure works, one of which is by contributing to the improvement of infrastructure in IKN using BIM technology. All infrastructure construction work built by Abipraya in IKN is done by applying BIM to accelerate the process and complete it with the best quality," said Tumpang Muhammad, Director of HR and General Affairs at Brantas Abipraya.

In addition, the construction of all Brantas Abipraya projects with BIM is one of the efforts in the digital transformation of Brantas Abipraya towards a more efficient and modern company. The implementation of BIM is carried out at the project level with the concept of Virtual Design Construction.

The technical implementation of this competition consists of selecting 10 nominees by creating a BIM Execution Plan (BEP), selecting 3 finalists through BIM Modeling activities, building digital data, and Collaboration and Coordination in the CDE Platform, and the final assessment is the best presentation.

This achievement is a manifestation of Brantas Abipraya's commitment to carrying out the transformation program through digitalization processes and the implementation of Construction Safety Management Systems. This state-owned construction company also hopes that the current achievements can be further improved and always innovated in digital transformation to realize green and sustainable infrastructure.

"Hopefully, with this award, it can inspire, motivate, and spread the spirit of creating even better works to advance the nation's infrastructure," Tumpang Muhammad concluded.
