On the 79th anniversary of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk officially launched its 50th hospital, Rumah Sakit Hermina Nusantara, located in Sepaku District, Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. This hospital features a modern and elegant design, spanning eight floors over 28,000 m² (master plan) on a 20,718 m² plot. Construction began in early 2024, and currently, RS Hermina Nusantara has three floors ready to welcome outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients. “Along with general health services, our main focus is on basic services, including emergency care, ICU, and trauma care as our core offerings, plus specialized services in maternal and child health (KIA) and oncology to support the government’s priority health programs,” explained Dr. Hasmoro, President Director of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk. Dr. Hasmoro also mentioned that RS Hermina Nusantara is backed by RS Hermina Balikpapan and RS Hermina Samarinda, and is collaborating with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia for a phased opening, having received support from various insurance companies in Indonesia. Looking back, after signing the agreement and receiving the Deputy for Planning and Land Authority of the Nusantara Capital City (OIKN) decision on land allocation for PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk in September 2023, Hermina held a groundbreaking ceremony on November 1, 2023, followed by the foundation work starting on December 22, 2023. “From the beginning, we’ve been committed to supporting the Nusantara Capital City because we see its huge potential for growth alongside the development of the capital,” Dr. Hasmoro added. So, the plan for Rumah Sakit Hermina Nusantara is to become an eco-friendly and smart hospital in the future, aiming for both national and international accreditation. This will help us reach a wider range of executive and non-executive patients. Plus, back in July, Hermina had a soft opening for RS Hermina Madiun, marking it as the 49th hospital in the chain. A big shoutout to the government and everyone involved for their amazing support from the market commitment. We really hope that the establishment of Rumah Sakit Hermina Nusantara will be well-received and beneficial for the local community.
