Ujang Komarudin Appointed As Spokesperson For The Presidential Communication Office

On Monday, November 18, Hasan Nasbi, the Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), inaugurated six spokespersons at the Krida Bhakti Building in Jakarta. Among those appointed was Ujang Komarudin, a prominent political analyst in Indonesia. Born in 1981, he has served as the Executive Director of Indonesia Political Review (IPR) since 2016.

In addition to his role at IPR, Ujang is a permanent lecturer at Al Azhar University in Indonesia. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Indonesia (UI) and previously worked as a special staff member for the Chairman of the House of Representatives, Ade Komarudin. Ujang completed his master's degree in Political Science at UI after earning his bachelor's degree in Islamic Politics from Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University in Bandung.

Throughout his career, Ujang has contributed as an analyst, speaker, and leader in various organizations. He was also part of the Expert Team on Politics and Government at Focus Parliament in 2013. Hailing from Subang, he has published numerous opinion pieces and authored books related to politics, including "Political Party Ideology: Between Party Interests and the Common People," released in 2016. Prior to his appointment as a spokesperson for the PCO, Ujang shared a moment on social media, encouraging everyone to continue doing good.

"May everything be easy and smooth, O Allah. Ameen... Regardless of how many people may hate you, obstruct your path, smile in front of you, strike from behind, criticize, or slander you, keep smiling. Continue to do good. And enjoy life," he stated. In addition to Ujang, Hasan Nasbi appointed five other spokespersons: Philips Vermonte, Adita Irawati, Prita Laura, Dedek Prayudi, and Hariqo Wibawa Satria. Hasan also appointed three special staff members: Tjut Andjani, Hafizhul Mizan, and Syahril Ilhami.

Furthermore, six principal experts for the PCO were appointed, including Lalu Tubagus Arie Rukmantara, Hamdan Hamedan, Wahyu Andrianto, Albert Tarigan, Pandji Setiadi Nugraha, and Ricky Tamba.
