Mohamad Guntur RomliMohamad Guntur Romli, the spokesperson for PDIP, stated that the Secretary General of PDIP, Hasto Kristiyanto, has produced numerous videos concerning allegations of corruption involving state officials. He expressed confidence that these videos would create a significant public stir and alter the landscape of anti-corruption efforts in the country. Guntur made these remarks during the program "Interupsi," titled "Election Disputes Not Yet Started, Political Elite as Suspects," which aired on iNews TV on Thursday, December 26, 2024. He confirmed that Hasto remains in Indonesia and has not traveled abroad, asserting, "Yes, of course, he is still in Indonesia, not going anywhere. And Mr. Hasto is law-abiding and cooperative." Guntur elaborated that Hasto has created multiple videos aimed at revealing the alleged corruption scandals involving state officials. He noted that these videos are a continuation of Hasto's initial statement following his designation as a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which was released on the same day. "What is interesting is that Mr. Hasto has produced dozens of videos, as mentioned earlier. There will be additional videos that will expose the involvement of high-ranking officials in corruption cases," Guntur explained. He also mentioned that he has viewed several of the videos created by Hasto and is convinced that the content regarding the alleged corruption scandals will astonish the public and transform the anti-corruption narrative. "These videos, once released, will create a sensation and will significantly change the landscape of anti-corruption efforts, public opinion, and will be extraordinary. The names and evidence that will be presented will indeed be shocking," Guntur emphasized.
