President Prabowo Subianto has issued a warning to ministers and heads of government agencies that they will be subject to replacement (reshuffle) if they do not perform their duties effectively. "The people demand a clean and proper government that operates correctly. Therefore, I intend to uphold this principle. The interests at stake are solely for the nation and the people; there are no other interests. Those who are unwilling to work diligently for the people will be removed," President Prabowo stated in response to a journalist's inquiry regarding the reshuffle of the Merah Putih Cabinet following the peak celebration of the 102nd anniversary of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Jakarta on Wednesday. During his speech at the anniversary event, the President reiterated his zero tolerance for government officials who do not take their responsibilities seriously. "We will not hesitate to take action. Within the first 100 days, I have issued multiple warnings. Now, I will address those who are obstinate, those who are negligent, and those who refuse to align with the major demands for a clean government. I will take action against them!" the President declared. On this occasion, Prabowo reaffirmed his commitment to establishing a government that is free from any form of corruption. "We are confident that what we are fighting for is in the best interest of the nation and the people of Indonesia," Prabowo remarked. In his speech, the President also urged all government officials to engage in self-reflection. "All personnel and institutions must cleanse themselves! Before you are cleansed, I remind all officials that your loyalty is to the nation, the state, and the people of Indonesia. If you are not loyal to the people of Indonesia, if you obstruct policies aimed at assisting the Indonesian populace, I will take action!" the President warned all ministers, agency heads, and other government officials. President Prabowo attended the peak celebration of the 102nd anniversary of NU at Istora, Jakarta, on Wednesday, accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and members of the Merah Putih Cabinet.
