President Prabowo Subianto is set to remove ministers who are unwilling to serve the public. This statement, made during the 102nd anniversary of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), has been interpreted as a form of political intimidation. According to Adi Prayitno, Executive Director of Parameter Politik Indonesia, during an interview on Primetime News Metro TV on Thursday, February 6, 2025, this serves as a political intimidation tactic, indicating that anyone in proximity to the Palace, including ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of agencies, must align with Prabowo Subianto's vision and political promises. Adi further argues that President Prabowo's remarks cannot be separated from the political context that has caused unrest within society, including controversies surrounding the distribution of subsidized LPG and the mystery of maritime borders. This sentiment is echoed by Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, the Daily Chairman of the Gerindra Party, who acknowledged complaints regarding ministers who do not harmonize with President Prabowo Subianto's directives. Earlier, while attending the 102nd anniversary of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Jakarta on the evening of February 5, 2025, Prabowo issued a stern warning to all government officials, including state apparatus and institutions. "I have issued multiple warnings. Now, those who are disobedient, those who are stubborn, those who do not comply, I will take action against them. All institutional personnel, cleanse yourselves before you are cleansed," the President asserted, as reported by Headline News Metro TV on February 6, 2025.
