Hasto's Survey Involves The Harun Masiku Case With A 1,000 Percent Order From Political Opponents

Saturday, 15 Feb 2025

The results of a survey indicating that a majority of the Indonesian public believes that the Secretary General of the DPP PDIP, Hasto Kristiyanto, is involved in the Harun Masiku case are thought to be orchestrated by political opponents. There are even suspicions of external and internal orders within the PDIP itself.

According to Adhie M. Massardi, the Coordinator of the Clean Indonesia Movement (GIB), the survey conducted by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) regarding Hasto Kristiyanto and Harun Masiku is deemed irrelevant, as there are numerous other issues that warrant investigation.

"Logically, why conduct a survey on Harun Masiku and Hasto? There are many other matters that should be surveyed. Therefore, it is undoubtedly the political opponents of the PDIP behind this, that is a certainty," Adhie stated to the RMOL Political News Agency on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

Adhie believes that the survey was intentionally carried out because the facts are indisputable. In fact, even without a survey, the entire Indonesian populace is aware that Hasto is likely involved in the Harun Masiku case.

"However, his involvement is at the administrative level; legally, it has yet to be proven. In terms of perception, yes, as he is the Secretary General, how could he not know? Essentially, this survey is being used to tarnish the reputation of Hasto and the PDIP," Adhie explained.

He also expressed suspicion that the survey was commissioned, either from external sources or through a collaboration of orders from both outside and within the PDIP. "Yes, both external parties and those within the PDIP itself. It is likely that the survey also included supporters of the PDIP. However, this could be part of a power struggle within the PDIP," Adhie concluded.
