Political observer from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Adi Prayitno, believes that the administration of President Prabowo Subianto maintains a notably close and special relationship with the seventh President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

He noted that a recent meeting took place between Jokowi and Hashim Djojohadikusumo, the younger brother of President Prabowo Subianto and Special Envoy for Energy and Environment, which occurred in Solo on Friday, March 7, 2025. "Regardless of the title, Hashim is seen as representing the government faction. It is well-known that Mr. Hashim is the brother of Mr. Prabowo Subianto. I believe the public is aware of the inseparable close relationship between Prabowo and Jokowi," he stated on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

According to him, the meeting likely covered various topics, ranging from political agendas to economic matters, which could provide valuable insights for the current administration of Prabowo. This would enable Prabowo to make economic and political decisions aimed at enhancing the prosperity and welfare of the nation.

Therefore, he considers it reasonable for the public to conclude that the meeting between Hashim and Jokowi is political in nature. Hashim represents Prabowo or the government, while Jokowi stands for the former president. This dynamic leads the public to consistently assert that the current administration remains closely tied to Jokowi. "At the same time, there have been no meetings with other former presidents, no discussions with SBY, and certainly no engagement with Megawati. This indicates that in the current administration, Jokowi's role is particularly significant, and that cannot be denied," Adi explained.

He further emphasized that this is evidenced by the numerous government representatives who frequently communicate and meet with Jokowi. In addition to Hashim, there is also Minister of Forestry Raja Juli, who has conducted video calls, as well as Minister of Cooperatives Budi Arie.
