AHY: Prabowo-Megawati Meeting Has Positive Impact On Politics

The General Chairperson of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, welcomed the meeting of President Prabowo Subianto with the General Chairperson of the PDI Perjuangan, Megawati Soekarnoputri. 

According to AHY, the friendship between the nation's leaders makes the community calm. AHY hopes that all the nation's leaders will continue to have good relations. 

AHY also stated that the friendship between leaders will also have a positive impact. According to AHY, national development must be carried out by all elements of the nation. 

Previously, Prabowo and Megawati met for 1.5 hours. This meeting took place at Megawati's residence, Jalan Teuku Umar, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Monday night, April 7, 2025, starting at around 19.30 WIB. 

President Prabowo Subianto is said to have received a lot of input from the General Chairperson of the PDI Perjuangan, Megawati Soekarnoputri. One of them is in dealing with the tariff policy imposed by the President of the United States (US) Donald Trump. 

Megawati conveyed this when Prabowo also discussed global problems and challenges, including Trump's policies. The policy has an impact on many countries. 

Megawati and Prabowo agreed to make this momentum a revival for Indonesian products. So, it does not depend on imports.
