Prabowo And Raja Abdullah Hold A Bilateral Meeting At The Jordanian Palace

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting followed by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman, Jordan, on Monday, April 14. 

Yusuf Permana, Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media at the Presidential Secretariat, stated that King Abdullah II will personally welcome President Prabowo at the palace. "Tomorrow, President Prabowo's schedule is set for around 1:00 PM local time, where he will be received directly at Al-Husseiniyah Palace. His arrival will be greeted by King Abdullah II," Yusuf mentioned during a press briefing in Amman, Jordan, on the evening of April 13. 

President Prabowo and King Abdullah II are expected to begin their meeting with a private discussion (tete-a-tete), followed by a bilateral meeting with their respective ministerial delegations. Yusuf further noted that several MoUs will be signed, which will be witnessed by both heads of state. 

The official visit at Al-Husseiniya Palace will conclude with a formal luncheon. After completing visits to four countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar, President Prabowo is set to conclude his state visit in Amman, Jordan. 

President Prabowo's trip to the Middle East carries a primary mission of seeking peace in Gaza, Palestine, including plans for the evacuation of Palestinian citizens to Indonesia. Several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet, such as Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman, and Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar, have already arrived in Jordan ahead of the President.
