President Prabowo Officially Inaugurated Several Ministerial Officials

On Tuesday, October 22, President Prabowo Subianto officially designated several state officials to oversee various national institutions.

- Aris Marsudiyanto as the Head of the Agency for Development Control and Special Investigations.

- Muliaman Darmansyah Hadad and Kaharuddin Djenod Daeng Manyambeang as the Head and Deputy Head of the Agency for Investment Management of Daya Anagata Nusantara.

- Moch. Irfan Yusuf and Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak as the Head and Deputy Head of the Hajj Organizing Agency.

- Budiman Sudjatmiko as the Head of the Agency for Accelerating Poverty Alleviation, with Nanik Sudaryati Deyang serving as Deputy I and Iwan Sumule as Deputy II.

- Haikal Hassan and Afriansyah Noor as the Head and Deputy Head of the Agency for Halal Product Assurance.

- Tubagus Ace Hasan Syadzily as the Governor of the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia.

- Lodewyk Pusung as the Deputy Head of the National Nutrition Agency.

The President, at the same time, also appointed five officials at the ministerial level as follow::

- Sanitiar Burhanuddin as the Attorney General

- Muhammad Herindra as the Head of the National Intelligence Agency

- M Putranto as the Chief of the Presidential Staff

- Hasan Nasbi as the Head of the Presidential Communication Office

- Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan as the Chairman of the National Economic Council.

Among these appointments, Sunarto, who previously held the position of Deputy Chief Justice for Judicial Affairs, has been named the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (MA). His election as Chief Justice was confirmed during a special plenary session on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, where he garnered 30 out of 44 votes cast. Sunarto will serve a term from 2024 to 2029, taking over from the retired former Chief Justice, Syarifuddin.
