Palace Confirms Danantara Prepares Investment In Technology Sector

Monday, 03 Mar 2025

Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Hasan Nasbi confirmed that the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara) will allocate its funds to invest in the Indonesian people in the technology sector.

Hasan, who was met in West Jakarta on Wednesday, said that investment in the technology sector is something that Danantara is paying attention to because technology has now become an important component in building the country in the future to realize Indonesia Emas 2045.

"There is (investment), there will be the construction of artificial intelligence (AI) centers. That's technology," said Hasan.

Although he did not reveal in detail the amount of investment for the technology sector, the construction of the AI ??center will certainly run according to the commitment and statement made by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto when inaugurating the agency.

According to Hasan, although Danantara is known as an investment management agency, this agency is actually an important instrument in supporting Indonesia's future development planning as a nation and is also an instrument for achieving progress.

Because it is projected for the future, of course technology development cannot be left behind. The presence of Danantara should be able to be a driver so that technology investment can be managed by domestic funds and not depend entirely on foreign investment.

"Today we have capital that if collected is sufficient. Sufficient to finance the downstream management of natural resources, sufficient to build refineries, capable of building artificial intelligence centers, AI, and no longer need to depend entirely on outsiders, we have our own strength. It's called Daya Anagata Nusantara, the future strength of Indonesia," said Hasan.
