Telkom Invites The Younger Generation To Innovate Through Digitalization At The Digiland Conference 2024

As part of the series of events to celebrate the 59th anniversary, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) successfully held the Digiland Conference on July 27, 2024. Taking place at Tennis Indoor Senayan, the Digiland Conference featuring various renowned speakers managed to attract more than 3,500 visitors from TelkomGroup employees and the general public.

The Digiland Conference presented six talk show sessions with the main theme "Rising Above The Uncertainties," which started with the Elevating Your Future session. Moderated by Azizah Hanum, this session featured Artist & Sociopreneur, Cinta Laura; Founder of VCGamers UpBanx & ModalRakyat, Wafa Taftazani; and Director of Digital Business Telkom Indonesia, Fajrin Rasyid. In this session, the speakers shared insights on how to approach and utilize Generative AI to create and enhance productivity.

Director of Digital Business Telkom Indonesia, Fajrin Rasyid, mentioned that the use of AI has a positive impact on increasing speed and efficiency in data processing and analysis, especially in enhancing customer experience.

"I believe that the use of AI, especially in the workplace, can provide better output compared to tasks not assisted by AI. Telkom itself has implemented and used AI, particularly in customer service, to provide optimal service to customers and improve business processes," explained Fajrin.

Next, the session Elevating Your Enterprise with the specific topic "Building Future Enterprise: How to Keep Up in the Digital Era" delved into the speakers' experiences in innovating and realizing the importance of utilizing technology in business in the digital era. This session was filled by Entrepreneur & Content Creator, Denny Sumargo; CEO Maka Group & Founder of Toko Kopi Tuku, Andanu Prasetyo; and Director of Enterprise and Business Service Telkom Indonesia, FM Venusiana R.

At this talk show, attendees got some great insights into the current business landscape and practical experiences that can help them in their own ventures. “One example of digitalization that Telkom is doing right now is Padi UMKM. With Padi UMKM, Telkom is not just benefiting itself but also helping others involved, like small businesses. Many of these businesses have found it really helpful as it makes their operations more efficient and boosts production,” said Venusiana. Unlike last year, the Elevating Your Passion session featured a podcast with Oki Rengga, Bene Dion, Indra Jegel, and Boris Bokir from the Podcast Agak Laen crew. In this session, the speakers shared insights on the process of exploring and developing passions to turn them into something valuable and successful in various situations. Moving on to the Elevating Your Business session, we had Actress, Host, and Singer Sheila Dara; Movie Director & CEO of Visinema Group, Angga Dwimas Sasongko; and Producer & Founder of Miles Films, Mira Lesmana. They discussed the connection between the film industry and digital strategy, highlighting the crucial role of digital content in filmmaking from a business perspective. To wrap up the conference, the Elevating Your Impact session featured discussions on the growth and importance of sustainable business practices, especially in light of the ongoing environmental crisis, with Actress & UNDP Indonesia Ambassador Chelsea Islan; Content Creator Jerhemy Owen; and Founder & CEO of Pable Aryenda Atma. Attendees got to explore how digital technology can amplify positive impacts on the environment through efforts to support sustainable initiatives for a better future.
